Making Contract Guard Training Simple

Schedule 

*GSA/DHS Basic (Unarmed) Contract Guard - 72 hours Training

                             UPDATE!!

              (New Contracts may require 64 hours and OC Training)

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ONLY UNITED STATES CITIZENS 

WILL BE PROCESSED AS NEW CONTRACT GUARD!!! 

The Department of Homeland Security/Federal Protective Service now requires that potential/new contract guards meet the following minimum qualification:   

1. One {1} year security experience and one {1} year of college work)
2. Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years OR An Associates Degree, or at least 60 (sixty) semester hours of college course work / credits in any field of study OR Three (3) years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience OR  
3. Successful completion of Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course OR
4. Any of the combination  listed above

• Classes Given Monday thru Friday
• 3 Weeks of Training
• 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
• 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• "Flex" & Weekend Classes  Are Available - Call for schedule

*Maryland Unarmed Security (Guard) Certification

  DC Special Police Officer (SPO) Unarmed Training

• Classes Given Monday thru Friday
• 1 week of Training
• 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
• 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Sponsorship Provided
• "Flex" & Weekend Classes Available - Call for Schedule Information
  

• Classes Given Every 3rd (third) Sunday
• Class size Minimum 5  
• 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm
• Pre-Registration Required

*GSA/DHS Firearm A-9 (NEW Contracts Require ICE COURSE )

• Classes Monday - Friday                                                                                        
• 2 weeks of Training 
• 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
• 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Weekend Classes Are Available - Call for Schedule

• Requirements:

• Must have completed the 64/72 hrs of Basic (Unarmed) Training - Proof Required

• Prior Firearm Handling Experience  - Proof  Required
• NO Company Information Required

Classroom/Training Attire for all Classes is

*GSA/DHS 8 Hours "Remedial Armed Training" -  ICE COURSE

•   Wednesday and Thursday (Need both days)
